To promote fairer business dealings, Couleur Caramel always looks for suppliers able to offer ingredients based on Fair Trade (FT), such as sesame oil, melon oil from the Kalahari, baobab oil or Mafura butter.

Respect for Animals
Out of respect for animals, Couleur Caramel products are tested on volunteers under the control of an independent laboratory and thus are "never tested on animals". We do not use marten hair in our brushes as martens cope very poorly in captivity.
